CHANGES IN WIC PARTICIPATION AMONG MOTHERS PARTICIPATING IN MEDICAID

  • Examine descriptive patterns and long-term trends concerning WIC participation by Medicaid participants during pregnancy and by state WIC agency policies, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic.

EVALUATION OF ENHANCED CARE MANAGEMENT DURING PREGNANCY THROUGH PERINATAL COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKERS

  • Evaluate a program developed by the Prince George’s County Health Department to provide enhanced care during pregnancy through perinatal community health workers. Community health workers will identify social and clinical risks that can influence pregnancy-related outcomes. The evaluation will assess project effectiveness and sustainability and offer recommendations for expansion.
